A free event hosted by Thoor Ballylee and delivered by Janet Laffey, the Community Water Officer for East Galway and Roscommon working for the Local Authority Waters Program (LAWPRO).
Thoor Ballylee Yeat’s tower is situated on the banks of the beautiful Streamstown River. Join Janet for a talk about this important freshwater habitat. Discover the secret lives of the aquatic insects that live in our local river and learn how to protect water quality in your community and how to contribute positive change to protect our local rivers and waterways.
This talk is funded by the Community Foundation for Ireland under the Ireland Environment and Nature Biodiversity grant 2024.
